Fiji - Part Two

FIJI - PART TWO

Two of the highlights for me were Cloud 9 and our little tropical vila with a private pool.

If your looking for somewhere to stay in Fiji I would definitely recommend The Fiji Resort and Spa managed by the Hilton. The resort is located on Denarau Island which is just a short drive from Nadi airport. From the food, facilities and staff it was just amazing. I really didn't want to leave.

For anyone going to Fiji I could not recommend a trip out to Cloud 9 more highly. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Check out the website here Cloud 9

We took a little boat out to Cloud 9. But plenty of people just turned up on jet skis or sailing boats. You can stay for as long or as short as you like. It is basically a floating restaurant/ bar. With wood fire pizzas cooking all afternoon, tunes playing and cocktails flowing. What more could you want? I spent most of my day between floating on a lilo and relaxing on a sun bed with a mango daiquiri. I could have stayed there all week.

Loved this Lilya outfit. It was perfect for a tropical holiday. My Bon Voyage top paired with my Little Bay shorts. I don't think I took my Senso Ida's off for most of the holiday either. I love Summer dressing. I wish it would warm up in Sydney already.

Still dreaming of being back in Fiji....

Fiji - Part One

Part One

Recently my lovely Mum and Dad surprised with a Birthday trip to Fiji. It was my first time in Fiji and I didn't really know what to expect. However I absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. And flights only 3 hour which is a bonus.

We took a little day trip out to Savala Island on the Oolala Day Cruise. This included snorkelling, baby shark feeding, Glass bottom boat trip, stand up paddle boarding, BBQ Lunch and plenty of time to relax with a glass of wine. They also keep the tour groups very small so it makes you feel like you're on your on private island. This is a must if it's your first time in Fiji.

My Glassons dress paired back with a hat I found in a little shop in  Fiji was the perfect outfit to explore the island. This dress is so easy to wear and can so easily be dressed up or down.

Twin Set

I do love a Twin Set. If you hadn't already noticed.

A friend of mine went to Bali a little while ago. I sent over a few pictures and drawings of things I wanted. She met a Balinese lady on her last trip who is an amazing dress maker. She makes whatever you want with in a matter of days. From leather jackets to silk sets she can do anything. This is one of the pieces I had made.

Paired back with my Senso Julia Sandals. This is the perfect Spring outfit.

Mules

Mules are definitely on trend this season. Luckily Mules have had a revamp since the 90s. Returning with a modernised look they are a must have for Spring.

High end designers such as Celine, Chloe and Phillip Lim have fully embraced this trend for SS14. If you can't afford the high end brands. I definitely can't. You're in luck. Everyone from Tony Bianco to Country Road have picked up on this trend.

I may be a little bit biased. However these Senso Mules are out of this world. With the very 90s square toe, chunky heel and the chalk leopard print. I had to bring them home with me. They come in plain black too. I might have to get them aswell.

Sticking with the 90s vibe I teamed my Mules with my Vintage Levis and Demin Shirt.

MBFF

This weekend was the final weekend of MBFF which showcased the best of Spring/Summer designer fashion. My friend Abbey and I went along to the Mercedes-Benz Presents: Australian Style show on Saturday night. It was such a great event.

Above are a few of my favourites from the show. It showcased lots of Australia's top designers from Bec and Bridge to Michael Le Sordo. Everything from the show is available in store now which is really cool. As usually you have to wait months before you can get your hands on anything.

Leopard

If I could wear these pants every day, I would. Literally the comfiest piece of clothing I own. Zulu & Zephyr's summer collection is a mix of pastel tones, loose tailoring and animal prints and I can't stop buying pieces. They are easily my favourite brand at the moment.

Paired back with a basic long sleeve top and my Senso Immy sandals. This is the perfect lazy Sunday outfit.

Senso Summer

Senso's new 1st Summer collection is about to be realised both online and in stores. I just can't get enough of this collection. Counting down until I can get my hands on a few pairs. I thought I'd give you a bit of an insight into my picks this season. Slides, Mules and strappy heels are among my faves.

This seasons collection includes pastel leathers, bold prints and Senso Classics. Pair these styles back with neutrals for an easy take on Spring/Summer style.

Check out the whole collection here;
